Dear Oakland Police Department:
Front doors are usually located near the front of a house. Not the back of a house. Especially not through a gate and up the stairway from the back of a house.

P.S. to those reading along: the alarm went off about 8 hours ago. Nice to get a daylight call this time, and yes, this round the back door was locked.
