(no subject)

I took a stroll through my poetry shelves this morning, just because, and I discovered that I own an inordinate number of books by mothers, whose poems deal closely with the matter of parenthood at least in part. More strangely, most of these books came into my possession long before I ever had any concrete plans to have children of my own.

Anything worth sharing?

I find I'm more in tune with poetry about the development of children than about parenting. This is bleak, but understandably so from an author with Feinstein's family background, and beautiful:
