two more bits:
1. Thank you, everyone who has said nice things about my story "Dead Nude Girls." I think this may be the most positive feeback I've ever gotten on anything I've done, honestly.
2. Today, Valentine's Day, is also the birthday of my long-lost ex-wife. I don't talk about her much, and in the grand scheme of things we didn't last very long, and the feelings are very faded, and when they aren't they're spikily mixed, but I don't want to erase her from my past, either.
