1. Tested that foot trick last night. It still works. (No, I don't use those wooden foot roller things very much. Maybe I should try them!)

2. I lied when I said that I made the last peaches of the season into cobbler, because we got the very last few in the box yesterday. Along with two tiny plums. And three melons. I see melon salad on the horizon for the weekend.

3. Speaking of which, I re-made the cantaloupe sorbet and it was yummy.

Well, I was half-joking, since I seem to actually need a certain sort of pressure for the foot trick to work that I don't think those things will provide.

I did roll a frozen water bottle under my foot when my plantar fasciitis was acting up, and that was fine. Nice, even. Not orgasmic, though.
