1. So I did actually make it to the tail end of the More 5 Minute Erotica reading last night, because it was down the hall from the show I was seeing instead. I still didn't read, although I was offered a chance. (I wasn't prepared! Plus you all have heard this particular story a zillion times already.) It was nice to see people and hear some high-quality smut, and it was a good wind-down after the Insurgency show, which was excellent and thought-provoking.

2. As of Monday, my office is moving to Sunnyvale. Mixed feelings about this. It makes life more difficult in several dimensions. On the other hand, I will have a phone. And the new space has a couple of perks. And also, I have maternity leave coming up soon anyway.

3. I hate maternity clothes. Pants especially. I am thinking of just investing in some nice stretchy sweatpants for the duration. And overalls, if I can find any. Cute pajama pants, ditto. (And Chefswear pants, which I have already stocked up on.)

3. thermalia might have some overalls for ya. you just want big ones? (the idea of maternity clothing for fatties gives me pause, knowing the state of plus size clothing as i do. shudder.)

maybe we can make that date with y'all for a movie over here, in early july. and then overalls can be yours, along with the popcorn.

I never wore a stitch of maternity clothing (although I never had twins, either). Loose droopy shirts and stretchy pants did the trick.

I am trying to avoid wearing maternity clothes as much as possible myself (gifts of used clothing excepted). But I don't have enough stretchy pants, quite, to make it through the week at the moment. Or droopy shirts, for that matter. All of my shirts are riding up unacceptably at the moment.

It was nice to see you last night.

Also, I heart overalls.
