Whose bright idea was it to add perfume to diapers? Ugh.

Worse: the smaller size of this brand lacks the smelly stuff, so I thought I could upsize safely, especially as the package does not mention scent one way or the other. Boy, was I wrong.

Ew. That's about as bad as perfumed tampons and pads.

Ick.

Bleccch!

The scented diapers are awful -- our solution was to stick to house brands, which hardly ever seem to smell.

You'll find a big difference in the baby-produced smell, btw, when they transition to solid food. Peter once described the results of exclusive breast-feeding as "squelchy du leche" because of the oddly-caramel-like smell :P

I think it smells like peanuts myself. Then you start solids and poof it smells like poop!

Really? that's sad and really inappropriate. Good luck finding something better.

Won't the fragrances irritate sensitive baby skin?

I know they do mine, and I'm no longer a sensitive baby.

I get the impression, poking around, that yes, sometimes they do :(
