a pommelo is usually larger and significantly heavier, with a shinier, more aromatic skin which is tight and firm to the touch; often with a largish calyx still attached, the pith and flesh will have a pink hue. oroblanco usually have dull, looser skin whose pith is fluffy and white, the flesh a light golden yellow. i think the scent of the pommelo has a sweet floral note to it, tho the oroblanco is often sweeter on the tongue.
