Birthday Wishes

It's true, I have a 40th birthday coming up next month, and folks have started to ask me what I would like for the occasion.

Well, I have to say that at the moment, a custom Old Spice video would be tops on my list ;)

After that, I dunno. I don't need much, you know? A mix CD, a home-cooked meal, something handmade, something unique you found. Your company and a cup of tea.

The Old Spice Guy is *so* much better than the Dos Equis guy in every dimension including and especially the parody of masculinity, they can't appear in the same frame together. It's kind of like magnets.

Whereas I look at them as male versions of the Mother/Crone, if you will. both are masculine but at different stages of life.

Would that home-cooked meal be anything in particular, or just a home-cooked meal of the cook's choice?

I'm thinking that even though we see each other a fair amount, it's rarely one on one ... or even one adult on one adult with babies.
