1. The sing-a-long West Side Story at the Castro last night was fun
and probably just what I needed. I am such a softie, I always cry a little
at "There's A Place For Us," sappy as it is. I blame the queer subtext.

2. The driver of the Fremont train this morning leaned out of his window
just to wish me a happy Thursday.

3. The MUNI driver last night refused to take my fare.

4. I cannot answer your comments from work, but I appreciate all of them.
Thank you.

5. I am surrounded by good and thoughtful friends, and I have two patient
and dedicated lads who love me, pick me up from BART, feed me, and kiss me
goodbye in the morning.

6. Birthday cake at the meeting this morning. With sparkly candles! The
cake wasn't just for me, but that's OK, I can share.

7. My family is coming to visit! And I have a five-day weekend next week
while they're here.

8. Fritzi, as of this morning, has two new paw-signals, though I do not
know what they mean. Maybe they just mean "your chest is blessed. Your
ribs are blessed." I think that's what I'll take them as for now.

9. I did not buy new shoes. (Yes, this counts as a blessing, disguised.)

She reaches her paw out to lightly brush me. Usually she does this to my hand, as a signal to pet her, or she just sort of hangs the paw in the air to signal same.

This time, she very deliberately reached under the bedsheet to brush my ribs, and then to brush the topside of my breast.
