Very nice quote. The other question comes, when fear holds us back from taking the steps toward change, who does that fear truly serve?

I generally interpret "this country isn't ready for ..." as "I am not ready for."

It's kinda like my relatives when one said "my sister was upset by X", and the sister herself said "my sister was upset by X". It really means that they themselves were upset by X, but couldn't admit it. It's the other person who has tender or irrational feelings, never me.

What an interesting election year. The Democrats have two candidates the country is supposedly not ready for, and the Republicans have at least one. Who are we ready for? I'm ready to be surprised.
