Update and Explanation

pantryslutMy mother clarified things this afternoon: my brother is a "maybe" for the summer, his wife even more so. (My brother is going to law school in Michigan in the fall; his wife is finishing up law school in Indiana.)
And I thought I should make a note about calling my sister Migraine Sister, because maybe it sounds mean instead of sassy but loving. It's one of those gallows humor moments. My sister has really awful, persistent, chronic migraines that began in her early teens. Her drug regimen is more complicated than some HIV+ people I know. Sometimes they are under control, and sometimes they're not. Right now they seem to be OK. And so I can call her Migraine Sister, because we can sit around and joke about it now. Yes, if she limped or something, I'd probably call her Gimp Sister. I'm just that way.
But never behind her back.
Besides, she needs a nickname, and J. is just so bland. I could call her Redheaded Sister, I suppose. Sunburn Sister has a nice alliteration...
