Niko (2 yo) started running around on his hands and feet, and then told me he was a bug. Then he told me he was a spider baby. If our kids ever met up, there's a good chance they'd be friends.
Some of my husband's cousins lived in a condo in Chicago that had a really friendly door man. Every time they came or went, he'd greet their toddler with "hey, big guy!" and then ask how he was doing, where they were going, how the day was, etc. Toddlers pick up phrases, and he picked up "ey bih guh!" which sounds like a toddler saying "yebiga" which is "fuck" (or "fuck you," I forget which) in Serbian, their native language.
Toddlers: They Are Great And Terrible All At Once.
