1. I wasn't kidding about the history teacher thing.

2. Key limes at the Berkeley Bowl, 99 cents a pound! I've promised limeade to black_pearl_10 for the first batch, but there's nothing keeping me from going back for more.

3. Also, baby bananas at the Bowl. I am a sucker for baby bananas.

4. I won my first game of Scrabble on Sunday. I don't think it was a fluke, either.

5. Chicken under a brick may not sound sexy, but it tastes so good I was picking off bits of chicken skin from the bottom of the pot and moaning late last night. It's also really easy.

6. Feathers everywhere.

7. Pentel markers are less water soluble than I remembered. Next time we will stick with Crayola.

8. Kiki Smith! Again!

9. I must really learn to bring my lunch once in a while.

10. I am so busy this week I am tired just thinking about it.

Normally, The Gawker is a little-mentioned guilty pleasure of mine. But this entry more or less perfectly sums up my feelings about a certain weekend news story out of Iraq. Just sayin'.
