...but I enjoyed breakfast this morning: scrambled eggs, boudin noir, sauteed apples, a warm croissant.

for those who are wondering

Despite everything this week (some of you know some of the parameters of everything, some of you don't, but it's really irrelevant), I am feeling pretty good right now. Tired, disappointed in some things, not looking forward to others, but overall, not so bad. My head is in the right place for now.

I am also insanely busy with book stuff and writing and work and so on. Fortunately, as months go, December looks to be pretty calm. Fingers crossed.

I am actually really looking forward to Thanksgiving, too.
