Hard to believe, but I'd forgotten how clear thinking Joanna Russ is. To wit:

soliciting fashion advice

I have taken tentative steps toward a summer wardrobe (insofar as there is a proper summer here) and a stab toward a more versatile and layered look, with the purchase or otherwise-acquisition of a handful of tank tops.

Now, my fashionwise friends, tell me what to wear on top of it when it's too cold for bare arms. No shrugs, plz. Links to reference materials are always appreciated.
