and now, the families descend.

In about a half-hour, Steven's mom arrives in town. She stays about a week.

Then, Tuesday the 9th, my mom & dad, brother and youngest sister arrive in town. Dad and brother will stay for a week; Mom and sister will take another week but spend a big chunk of that time in SoCal. Also there will be a visit to the grandparents in there somewheres. I might have to go down there for a day with the twins, too.

Meanwhile, I hear there's a lot of this Pride Month stuff going on. Could be interesting.

This happened around the corner last night. G. and I came home from dancing to find police tape closing off the entire block.

The babies' favorite toy is now a red maraca they accidentally stole from the music gathering they go to every Friday morning.

Unfortunately, there is only one maraca -- and it's the new favorite toy of *both* babies.

And it needs to go back next Friday anyway.

I see a shopping expedition in my future.
