Soul Food Farm CSA

Some of you might be interested in the Soul Food Farm chicken and egg CSA that's just started up. They're actively seeking new members, partly to make up for the lost revenue from the fire last month that I mentioned. More info here:

They are not by any stretch of the imagination the cheapest chickens or eggs in the world, but man oh man do they taste good. And, you know, raised humanely and pastured and all of that for those of us who care about that sort of thing too.

Congratulations to mollena, Ms. San Francisco Leather 2009!

I want you all to know how hard she rocked last night. With sincere respect to the other entirely worthy candidates, the contest was no contest. I am super-proud and completely honored to know her and I can't believe how ridiculously moved I am by our community's recognition of Mo's awesome talents and gifts -- and hard work. She is one special person. I'm so pleased that so many people saw that last night, and shined it right back at her. Yeah.

Shit. I'm tearing up now. I am not kidding.
