1. Uncle Bear Daddy is home. Hooray!
2. Simone has an ear infection. Boo!
3. Ear infection woke her up twice last night. Boo!
4. She has been to see the doctor and has antibiotics. Also a lollipop. Hooray!
5. I am fighting off feelings of slackerdom and instead trying to remind myself that a) I know a lot of brilliant people and b) I know them for a reason.
6. Also still fighting off those feelings of having a scarlet letter A tattooed on my forehead that only other people can see, and this is why I have such, shall we say, entertaining job prospects and/or lack thereof.
7. Regrets, I've had a few...
8. But overall I am feeling less gloomy than last week. Child care relief helps, surprise! So do extra helping hands, hurrah!
9. I like writing about books. I gave up reviews a zillion years ago b/c I hated having an assigned reading list that essentially crowded out my leisure reading. I'm not exactly rethinking that choice, but I'm glad to have other options occasionally open to me.
10. It's time once again to move rafts of stuff out of the house.
