Preliminary findings suggest that Yank Sing is a fine place to go for a downtown lunch. They have three $3.80 specials! A vegetarian combo! I had the special -- beef and green beans (except I think they were long beans)-- because I am craving vegetables. This is mildly embarrasing to admit, but I like my pork and green beans dish (which I would make with long beans if long beans came in the box) better. But not by much.

And I got to sit out on the patio in the cool overcast fall-ish but not too uncomfortable weather today. I have been remiss in making lunch dates, I realized. I will fix this soon.
