I think I need new shoes.

I love my current pair of Keen's, but looking in the mirror this morning, I noticed that they allow me to turn my foot in (roll toward the arch, aka pronate), which aggravates my plantar fasciitis. And this morning, my foot hurts. Even with the arch supports and everything. Sigh.

Any suggestons from the audience?

i just got some basic flat tsubo esque aldo's to replace my keens and so far i love them - plus they are stiffer so my foot can't roll in...

www.zcoil.com. Go to the San Jose store, not the San Francisco store, there's a huge difference in knowledge/customer service. They can correct for your pronation, your knees will stop hurting (if they do)and the combat boot model is really cute.

In Dansko shoes, I don't need my orthotics at all.

My last pair were Dansko's :) (I did still need orthotics -- my arches are that high.) But they were a bit tight across the top of my foot.

I live in my new balance shoes (black leather, velcro) and love them. I do have to replace them about 3 times a year -- when my legs start to hurt more, then it's time.
