"$10-15 sliding scale, no-one turned away for lack of funds" I often see this posted for events at Counterpulse and on two different occasions (one was PPO)the woman at the door, (same woman each time) argued with me because I had less than $10 in cash to pay at the door. I understand that supporting art with money and not just one's presence is important and I also think that if an event is clearly listed as "no-one turned away" there shouldn't be anyone working the door that is shaming people and being rude to folks that may not be able to pay $10 or $15. /rant That said...I love PPO and supporting the Center for Sex and Culture and am looking forward to the event.
