i am not at all ticklish. not in the slightest. but when people try to tickle me, i still jump away, which means that no one believes me. i'm not ticklish! i swear! it's just that before anyone causes that sort of a reaction in me we really ought to have a nice dinner together and a conversation about our std status! Any particular part of the foot? I ask, because I found that, as a doula (labor support companion), applying pressure to the heel pad, about the center, helps alleviate the sensation of pain during a contraction. You've gotta push pretty hard (I got blisters on my thumb quickly, and moved to using a spoon), but it really works.
