Grrr. Work.
Feb. 26th, 2003 04:33 pmI am frustrated with work today. Someone has changed something on the website I work for, and now it's a bitch and a half to get to the admin pages. I figured out a work-around this morning, but it's kludgy. And I can't seem to make anyone understand that a) it's not my system, b/c one of our other writers has reported the same problems, and I tried it from a machine at my other job and couldn't get in from there either; and b) just because I found a work-around doesn't mean it's *fixed.*
Grrr.
And it's foggy and cold, and I'm tired of the cold. Yeah, I live in San Francisco, what do I know of cold? Hey, I grew up in the Midwest, buddy. I know cold. I also know how to *heat* and *insulate* my houses, a skill which, apparently, home builders in California consider a lost art.
I say this every winter.
The fog makes the radio come in fuzzy and staticky.
The cats spilled my water on the floor this afternoon.
My freelance checks are late this month.
What other meaningless trivia can I complain about? Give me a minute and I'll think of something.
