I cannot believe that in all my cookbooks, I have exactly two recipes for dirty rice -- both vegetarian. And that's it.

I swear I'll stop spamming your journal, but I forgot to ask if you wanted any of those recipes: NY Times Heritage Cookbook (a regionally divided cookbook), Craig Claiborne's Southern Cooking, or Queen Ida.
