The boy is ill this week and staying home with me. I attempted to provide succor at lunch yesterday by preparing some tea.

In the process, I discovered.that my tea stores are very depleted, especially my herbal choices. Basically, I had peppermint and maybe two other varieties, one of which was a gift. I knew I had done some severe pruning when I moved, but it hadn't quite sunk in until now.

I think they may revoke my dyke card for this.

Cool link. Thanks! I wasn't so impressed with their herbal blends -- so my dyke card may still be in jeopardy -- but I'm a sucker for some of their other offerings. It is probably fortunate that I already satisfied my craving for black currant and Russian blends at Haig's in SF. They're about the only teas I had left in the cupboard, in fact.

Mmm, Haig's. Hummus and pita bread under the tea posters. Walnut and red pepper spread, too. I sense a pilgirmage coming on.
