pantryslutThe ladies have a slight cold, and thus we missed story time at the library this morning due to morning crankiness. Too bad, because that would have been just about their speed. We'll try to make it next week. I don't know if we'll make it out anywhere big at all this week; maybe just a walk down to the store and back this afternoon or tomorrow. The need to run off excess energy is somewhat mitigated due to illness, at least.

cindymonkey's. Giving them the mic was actually an attempt to divert them from messing with the musicians' instruments during a break between sets. Well, it worked a little too well. April entertained the crowd with a long monologue in Martian, then they sang a little duet of Feist-by-way-of-Sesame-Street, and then I managed to get them back down off the stage again. I was stuck somewhere between amused and mortified through the whole thing.
