pantryslutAs I went to take Simone out of her high chair after dinner, I stepped down on our hard slate floor and had a sharp pain travel up my sciatic nerve on the left side. I stopped and exclaimed in pain.
"Do you need a kiss?" asked Simone.
"Yes, in fact, I do," I said. "Thank you."
She leaned up and kissed me, then patted me on the back.
"You're fine," she said.
