Instead of any of the marches this year, I:

a) watched Red (the Bruce Willis et. al. thriller, not the other one) last night.

b) went to the farmer's market, then to the park to hang with the twin families (apologies to rebbyribs for being slow on the uptake, btw), then grocery shopped my heart out and settled in to watch oodles of soccer and see imnotandrei off to Germany for the week.

c) will grill mounds of delicious meats and vegetables in the backyard tomorrow.

I guess I will just have to validate my Queer Card in some other fashion...

I enjoyed it. Cute! Helen Mirren with guns! The central romance was a little too implausibly May/December for me but they did their best to make it work without making me roll my eyes.

I just finished 'Surrogates' and enjoyed it. 'Red' isn't on Netflix's watch it now thingy yet, though. :-(

I'm not doing any marches this year either & from the reports I'm getting tonight on Twitter re: Dyke March, I am so glad to be at home. It sounds more crowded & chaotic than it even usually is.
It is strange to be in Queer Mecca and be more excited about going to my kid's music class tomorrow than Pride, but so it goes!
