Simone and I are officially at the stage of Getting On Each Other's Nerves this week. I love her dearly (and I am making sure to tell her so at less-tense moments), but dang, kid, stop riding the line. Two sit-down talks before breakfast are too many.

I am having strong premonitions of the teenage years to come.

my parents turned into blithering idiots somewhere in my thirteenth year. they turned back into reasonable human beings when i was eighteen or so. uh, just to warn you.
