I'm not dead, I'm on deadline.

And, OK, having an out of town tryst. At least that's what I told my various bosses: "I will be out of town on Wednesday." It was *technically* true...

And there was a surprise boy waiting in the bed this morning. And a fridge full of veggies. And the birds are singing and the sky is blue. All in all, I can't complain.
