A. and
imnotandrei.livejournal.com and I took the kids to Children's Fairyland today. It was A.'s first time, and it may have been the children's first time since Simone got lost there last year. A. was completely thrilled by the experience. No children were lost this round. The train was out of service, but the ferris wheel and carousel made up for it. And did you know they do sleepovers? And summer camp?
I admit that one of the big charms of Fairyland is the way that absolutely none of it is designed to accommodate adults. I mean, they sell coffee and there are high hooks on the bathroom doors for bags. And that's about it.
The crowds were surprisingly light for a warm summer's day --is everyone out of town for the holiday, perhaps?
