pantryslutSpeaking of brothers, I had a very nice if too-brief chat with my brother yesterday. He did not get into his law school of choice, just as I did not get into any of the grad schools I applied to, so we commisserated about the vagaries of higher education. Also about jobs -- he works for Indiana University, and his current supervisor won't release him from his current position to take another job elsewhere in the system. And who else is hiring techies in Bloomington?
I also told him a little about G. You could almost hear his shrug. "Oh, Lori's dating two guys. What else is new?" (I've been out as poly and bi to my family ever since I, uh, gave really good quote to a reporter and ended up as the lead for a front page article in MSU's State News newspaper. That'll teach me to be picturesque and articulate...wait, no it won't.)
