Random odd Seder after-effects: my knees really ached all day today, presumably because I spent so much time on my feet yesterday.
And I really needed a nap.
And I'm late with my Girlfriends review.
But I found my knife! I left it at my friends' house last night. I felt like such an uber-food geek yesterday when I brought over my own knife, and olive oil, and vinegar. It's not like my friends didn't have a fabulous array of kitchen implements and ingredients to choose from.
I think I'm going to entitle my memoir Cooking In Other People's Kitchens.
P.S. now that it's over, I can confess: I don't think I've ever cooked for so many people at once before. And, I'd never made any of those dishes before, except for the citrus chicken.
I promise to talk about something other than food soon. But today, all that happened were repeated deliveries of Free Stuff (videos and books), and a lot of magazine reading. And the aforementioned nap. Coming up this evening: more boring work stuff.
