pantryslutHannah Mary Tabbs and the Disembodied Torso looks like a very interesting book (about a real-life murder in the late 1800s in Philadelphia, of a mixed-race man by a black woman), but I am having a hell of a time getting past the title. It's a dismembered torso. It isn't disembodied, it is the exact opposite. It is nothing but a body.
