I learned that Marlon Brando died during my job interview this morning. My potential boss had a small TV running in a corner of his office, tuned to CNN Financial or whatever the finance channel of choice is. Their lead story was June job figures, but their kicker was a retrospective on Mr. Brando.

It's an odd way to catch up on the news, to be sure.
