I'm happy to ignore the implausible fusion science -- this is a movie based on a comic book, after all. But if you're going to treat the mini-sun fusion reaction as just a big fireball, when you drop it into the river to "drown"/quench it, there should be more steam. All I am asking for is more steam. A big ball of steam. Gouts and gouts of dramtically-lit steam. It would make everything at the end all romantic and hazy and humid, too, as a bonus.
