teh family has landed

My mother called in the middle of G.'s birthday party yesterday evening to
let me know that she, Dad, and my youngest sister arrived safe and sound
at my grandparents' house. They were driving in from Michigan.

My brother, his wife, and my other sister flies into SFO on Tuesday.

This weekend is going to be a whirlwind, that's for sure.

hm.

This would be an interesting technical puzzle if it weren't so frustrating.

So, I can get to blogs hosted by Typepad (e.g. eggbeater.typepad.com), but
I cannot get to www.typepad.com. However, I cannot get to
www.livejournal.com nor journals hosted by livejournal (e.g.
pantryslut.livejournal.com).

Why one but not the other?

workable run-around to get to read my friend's page again. Hi, everyone!
It's only been a week, but I've missed you! I still don't think I can
comment until I get home, but at least I'm not blind any more.
