Jun. 19th, 2008 09:38 am1. So I did actually make it to the tail end of the More 5 Minute Erotica reading last night, because it was down the hall from the show I was seeing instead. I still didn't read, although I was offered a chance. (I wasn't prepared! Plus you all have heard this particular story a zillion times already.) It was nice to see people and hear some high-quality smut, and it was a good wind-down after the Insurgency show, which was excellent and thought-provoking.
2. As of Monday, my office is moving to Sunnyvale. Mixed feelings about this. It makes life more difficult in several dimensions. On the other hand, I will have a phone. And the new space has a couple of perks. And also, I have maternity leave coming up soon anyway.
3. I hate maternity clothes. Pants especially. I am thinking of just investing in some nice stretchy sweatpants for the duration. And overalls, if I can find any. Cute pajama pants, ditto. (And Chefswear pants, which I have already stocked up on.)
