Yesterday was a little odd

OK, just this once, we'll do it as a +/- list.


+ had a nice lunch with a nice visiting person
- tripped on the sidewalk and fell down
+ landed on my hands and knees and didn't even break the skin
- did bruise my knees, though
+ many people rushed to my aid even though I didn't need it
+ now I have an excuse for those sore knees!
+ obs/gyn declared me as having "a low-risk twin pregnancy"
- except for the hypertension, which requires twice-a-week tests
+ but the drugs seem to be keeping it under control
+ "keep doing what you're doing, it seems to be working"
- too tired, too foggy to go see the sunset
+ cuddled with movies and pizza instead
- until the power went out over a good chunk of Oakland
- and I learned that I've misplaced our crank radio
+ fixed one of our flashlights, though
+/- I think it's time we worked on having a good emergency kit in place.
