maybe the twins are vegetarians after all.

So, I had a spare chicken breast left over from an earlier dinner. I thought I'd poach it, (ugh!) puree it, and see what the kids thought of a milder meat than, say, sardines.

After the second try, I can say that they are less than thrilled. It ranks lower than green vegetables, it does. Even when mixed with prunes. They just don't seem to appreciate the texture. Oh well.

Oh, yeah, Mother's Day.

I celebrated it with a visit to a new farmer's market, some tea, some books, some burgers, some fried food, and a beer.

OK, half a beer. Woo! So wild!
