In Place of a Solid Food Update

The ladies would be delighted if I just fed them on strawberries, cheese crackers, and yogurt for the rest of their days.

Can't say I blame them.

In Other News

* I have spent the last day and a half doing electronic housekeeping. Filing e-mail, organizing my bookmarks, converting file formats, updating wish lists, and cutting-and-pasting.

* Some of this involves going through old offline journals. Which has been...interesting. In several different directions.

* My mother is coming back to town at the beginning of August, to tend to her mother, who is not doing so well at the moment. We will get a few chances to see her in the meantime, which is nice. She will leave on my birthday (also, coincidentally, her parents' anniversary).

* Overheard on the street this morning: "Wait! I ain't got no shoes! Please!" The context will be left to your imagination.
