I think I have expressed before my love of children's author/illustrator Ezra Jack Keats.

What I don't think I have admitted here is that, in addition to the usual reasons to like him (and if you don't know the reasons, check him out! You'll see what I mean)...

...he seems to have an inordinate fondness for cats. And let's face it, I am a big sucker.

Don't need for several, er, years yet, but WANT.

Although it does inspire craftiness for the future, as well. Hm. Hm. Hm.

I think at some point I have to write up a post or something about my alternate life as a pirate. (But please let's not discuss PoTC or we could be here all night.)
