Recipe Binder Tales

My grandfather was apparently a big fan of Cook's Illustrated and its sister publication, Cook's Country. Somehow I am not surprised.

Also, it seems he liked prime rib -- there were six pages of recipes for it in the binder I'm going through now.

ETA: and chicken-fried steak. I've lost count of how many recipes there were for this one. Approaching a dozen.
