I will take seriously both the outraged cries and the fearful hand-wringing about Moon and her allies et. al. being silenced one way or the other as soon as I see the same folks speaking out condemning Moon for deleting hundreds of dissenting comments on her entry in the first place.

Recent Happy Things I Haven't Had Time or Wrists To Mention

* I attended the very bestest, most awesomely fun and moving wedding ever, complete with heavy metal recessional and burlesque reception. Congratulations again, Sparkly and Bones! Thank you so much for letting me witness and celebrate your bond in such a kick-ass fashion.

* I saw Everyday Sunshine, the Fishbone documentary, last night, and it was fascinating.

* We had a family outing to Farm Day, the annual "open farm" event at my CSA. The ladies wandered through the orchard, danced a lot, tried to pick out pumpkins, and generally had a grand time.

* My daughters passed their second-year physical with flying colors. Simone is no longer a feather, and is exactly as tall as her sister. Both ladies were quite cheerful about it all, too.

* Got Out Of The House and onto the playground, and only had to run and fetch a wandering girl once. And she was helpfully wandering to the grass side of the playground, not the busy street side.
