Our little cat Nadine died this morning, not unexpectedly. She was a venerable cat of unknown age; when we first got her we assumed she was still a kitten because of her size, but she never grew a lick. (She would have liked you to know that she was of perfectly average size for a female cat worldwide.) We had her for fifteen years. She was soft-spoken and subdued, but never shy and always affectionate. She put up with the wandering exploratory hands of two small toddlers with much grace and poise. She will be much missed.

It was only mildly uncomfortable. And someone has raised a lot of money to trick out the facility at Pill Hill with fancy lockers and cozy robes and spacious waiting rooms and such.

But I think I've filled my flower imagery quota for next month.

I have a question for the masses. I need your input!
