Today I am annoyed at how "literary style" has come to be positioned as the antithesis of "simple style."

Invocation of Hemingway in the comments is frowned upon.

Also I am annoyed at people who can say something like this:

"Many readers judge a poem (falsely) on the basis of whether it agrees with their sensibilities, whether it has certain political content. In short, their judgements are usually emotive, divorced from considerations of craft and artistry. I for one can recognize and laud a poem whose content may be offensive (or at least controversial) , but which is beautifully and originally crafted."

Of which I have to say:

Well-crafted shit sculptures are still piles of shit.

But I know how to make myself laugh

So the title of my upcoming book-like (virtual) object is Lost Girls and Others.

If I ever publish a follow-up anthologies of my genre short stories, it should be titled Dead Girls and Others.
