Short Smutty Interlude

I have a story in Circlet's new e-anthology, "Like a Midsummer's Night," which is, as you might guess from the title, a collection of erotic Shakespeare stories. I hear that inserting sex scenes into the classics is all the rage these days...

You can read an excerpt from my story "All His Joy" at the link, which is kind of thrilling and embarrassing for me all at once. It's about exactly what Oberon does with that nice young prince once he steals him from Titania.

Oh, hey, maybe I do have something to read at the next PPO after all. (Or the one after that, to help keep you warm in January and all.) I've read it once before in that venue, and made a porn star squirm (happily) in his seat. So there.

I don't think I have mentioned* how personally hilarious I find Romney's statements about his Mexican ancestry: "My dad as you probably know was the governor of Michigan and was head of a car company. But he was born in Mexico. and uh, had he been born of uh, Mexican parents, I'd have a better shot at winning this thing."

Because my grandfather was born in Mexico of Mexican parents, but not of "uh, Mexican" parents. And of course I am from Michigan.

This is about all I have in common with Mitt Romney.



* Probably b/c I try to avoid, as much as possible, national electioneering talk. Among other things, engaging with such topics tends to make me feel like a tiny pawn with fingerprints all over my head, if you know what I mean. IOW, I don't do it for the same reason that I don't wear sweatshirts with corporate ads or logos taking up billboard space on my chest.
