Aug. 21st, 2004 03:29 pmIt seems I have been making this fruit salad every other week, just to keep up with my melon allotment. It's delicious and ridiculously simple. Also fun to take to parties or other gatherings.
Ingredients:
Two melons of contrasting colors and tastes (a watermelon and a cantaloupe, say)
A pint or so of berries of any sort
A couple tablespoons of Grand Marnier
Cut the melons up into bite-sized pieces and mix everything together. Let sit a little while so the fruit can absorb the liquor. Eat.
