Because each of your words contains magic power, and having them reproduced this way electronically saps them of their vital juices, leaving them wispy husks upon the page.

Wild Speculation #2:

Because you did something like this once before, and a Best-Selling-Author stole them and made millions from it.

Because Fritzi is jealous of your words, and wants to keep them all for herself, and will bite you if you give them away too lightly.

I like all of these.

Because it's talking, not doing. (And, more practically, because I post from work, and my writing isn't here.) Same reason I never feel any particular desire to tell everybody about every little detail of whatever it is I'm working on at the moment and don't you really really really want to hear all about it because it's so neat just wait until you hear it?

And because it's a tease, and I'm not.

I am, just a little. But I was doing this when it wasn't a meme, so contrariwise, I think I'll stop now. For awhile, anyway.
