My building has broken out the Christmas decorations with a vengeance. I feel like I'm working in a mall. I fully expect to find some red-and-white-garbed figure sitting on a throne in the courtyard taking requests any hour now.

I saw that on the way to work and was so taken aback I considered calling you and warning you - couldn't they put it behind some wall so if you want to see it you can look at it. I thought, here we go, xmas full throttle. Must hibernate.

The funniest part is, because I took the BART tunnel up to work, I didn't notice anything until lunchtime.
